So apart from the odd time flying out of or home into Dublin Airport and you are lucky enough to get the right seat, on the right side of the plane and get a day that is not cloudy you might have gotten to see the beauty of Rush from the air.

Well we have added to our photography kit at Nua HQ and will be hoping to get some more footage of our home town over the next few months.

Our first outing was down at the North Beach in Rush. The harbour well defended and enclosed.

Our next outing was a dreary morning down to the South Beach in Rush in hope of some gorgeous sunrise that didn’t happen.

The south beach is gorgeous especially at low tide due to the huge distance the tide goes out and leaves its artistic designs in the sand.

However what did shock us was the amount of erosion that has taken place to the dunes over the last couple of years with the high stormy seas. look at the video around 2.20mins in and on the bottom right is a pole which shows where the dunes were 3 or 4 years ago the erosion is shocking.

Also the vandalism to the dunes which have been cut by a member of our community? with a Tractor, which is shameful. These dunes are a protected area with wildlife nesting within the grasses.
